Leather backgammon boards, made by hand north of Boulder.
Every board is cut, dyed and stitched by hand in one studio, start to finish. No two are exactly alike, and none of them are meant to sit in a box.
Finished boards, one of each. What you see in the photograph is the board that ships.
Pick the board, the size and a direction, and it is made for you. Four questions, then a letter from the studio.
Two boards, three sizes
The Drifter rolls and travels with you. The Homestead lies flat on the table, or hangs on the wall. Both are cut from the same hides, by hand, in the same studio. The Drifter comes in 22 and 26; the Homestead in 22, 26 and 30.

Finished pieces, one of each. What you see is the board that arrives.

Folly Farm
Every board is made at Folly Farm, the family farm north of Boulder. The way of working was figured out in a garage in the Texas Hill Country. Every board is still cut, dyed and stitched by hand, start to finish.
About the studioThe board, the size, one you keep coming back to, and who it is for.
A price, and a question or two of our own. If we can't make it, we say so.
One conversation to settle the leather and the points. The board is paid in full once it is agreed.
Photographed finished, then shipped.
