The leather
Cut, dyed and finished by hand in the studio. No machines. Vegetable-tanned leather darkens and softens where it is used, so the piece is finished by using it. No two exactly alike.
Care

Keep it out of the sun
Vegetable-tanned leather darkens where light hits it. Left half in a window, it tans unevenly and stays that way.

Wipe, do not wash
A dry cloth for dust, a barely damp one for a spill. Never soap, never a soak — water lifts hand-dye.
03
Condition once a year
A neutral leather balm, worked in thin and buffed off.
