Every custom board we make is a collaboration. You tell us what you're looking for, and we work together to create something that feels exactly right. Whether you have a specific vision or want guidance on colors and design, we're here to help you build a board that's uniquely yours.
How It Works
Start by reaching out to us through our contact page. Let us know what you're interested in. If you have specific color preferences, design ideas, or special requests, share those with us. If you're not sure where to begin, we can walk you through the options and show you examples of previous work.
Once we understand what you're looking for, we'll send you a detailed proposal with pricing, timeline, and mockups if needed. Custom boards require a 50% deposit to begin work, with the remaining balance due upon completion. We'll keep you updated throughout the process and share progress photos along the way.
From the time we receive your deposit, most custom boards take between 4 to 8 weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the design. Rush orders are occasionally available for an additional fee. We'll let you know what's possible based on our current schedule.

Standard Custom Board
Choose your color combination from our available dyes. All boards are hand-stitched with Ritza Tiger Thread and made from full vegetable-tanned leather. Includes game pieces and dice.
Premium Custom Board
Incorporates custom color matching, intricate geometric patterns, or upgraded materials. For boards that require additional design work or specialty techniques.
Customization Options
Mix and match from our full range of Fiebing's Professional Dyes to create your perfect palette.
Hand-tooled or stamped personalization. Perfect for gifts or corporate pieces.
Detailed geometric designs or custom point arrangements that go beyond our standard layouts.

Expedited timelines based on availability. Two-week rush: +15–20%. One-week rush: +25–30%.
What Makes Each Board Unique
Beyond the obvious customization options, every board is inherently unique because we work with natural materials. The leather responds differently to dye depending on its grain and density. The way we stitch by hand means subtle variations in tension and placement. These aren't flaws. They're what make your board one of a kind.
We've made hundreds of boards over the past 20 years, and no two have ever been exactly the same. When you commission a custom piece, you're getting something that exists nowhere else.
What's Included
Every custom board comes complete with everything you need to play. This includes 30 game pieces (15 per color), two pairs of dice, a doubling cube, and dice cups. All pieces are carefully selected to complement your board's aesthetic.
Your board will arrive carefully packaged and ready to use or gift. We include basic care instructions with every order, and you can always reach out if you have questions about maintaining your board over time.
