A USMC black chrome-tanned field with points stitched in cream and Havana cigar thread, and vegetable-tanned frames and players. Rolls into its own case and closes with a strap.

Every point is saddle-stitched by hand: two needles, one thread, a stitch that holds even if it's cut. One of one. The board in the photographs is the board that ships.

Keep it out of the sun

Veg-tan darkens where light hits it. A board left half in a window will tan unevenly and stay that way.

Wipe, do not wash

A dry cloth for dust, a barely damp one for a spill. Never soap, never a soak — water lifts hand-dye.

Condition once a year

A neutral leather balm, worked in thin and buffed off.
