Made for you — 6–8 weeks

Four questions, then a letter.

There is no color wheel here on purpose. A board is one hide, dyed by hand, and no screen preview can promise what the leather will do. So we ask four good questions instead and put a person on the other end of them.

Answer what you know. Leave the rest to the conversation — an unfinished note is still worth sending.
No preview, no running total
01

Which board?

The Drifter rolls and travels. The Homestead lies flat, and can hang on the wall.

02

Which size?

Sizes are the long edge, in inches. 22 goes in a bag. 26 is the one most people play on. 30 is the centerpiece — Homestead only.

03

Is there one you keep coming back to?

These are all sold. They are here because a board you can point at says more in one gesture than a paragraph of adjectives — it carries the color, the technique and the proportion at once.

Colors you love, colors you can't live with, the room it's going in. "Nothing black" is as useful to us as "something pink."

If you already know the base leather color, name it. We keep a wide selection of thread colors to lay over the hide, and we will come back with suggestions rather than ask you to pick them.

We can and will certainly match that very closely. As we're sure you are aware, leather is unique with each hide, so slight variations can show — which gives it that one-of-a-kind, not-printed look.

The points

Inlaid points are curved triangles. Stitched points are traditional triangles, sewn in saddle stitch or running stitch. That is the whole list.

04

Who is it for?

A wedding, a retirement, a birthday. Tell us the occasion and the date, and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it.

How long it takes

6–8 weeks from the day we agree the board: the leather, the size, the points. It is paid in full then, not before. If there is a date it has to meet, say so above and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it.

Every note is read in the studio, not by a queue. You get a price back, and a question or two of our own. If we can't make it, we will say so. Nothing is paid until the board is agreed.
